Encapsulation of windings and solder joints

Especially in the area of rotating parts strong acceleration forces and vibrations occur. This is why windings and contacts must be well protected. The components are surrounded by casting compound, to fill the gaps and seal them from the outside. This protection results in reduced possible contamination and mechanical loads which could cause solder joints to break.

Epoxy resin-based products are particularly good in meeting many of these requirements, as they meet the specific needs demanded by modern manufacturing. Also, many of the products are rated to UL94 for flammability approval, combined with the relatively low volume shrinkage these epoxies are the perfect partner for your encapsulation needs.
