1670
Methacrylate structural adhesive
Kisling's 1670 is a non-sagging, two-part methylmethacrylate adhesive designed for structural bonding of thermoplastic, metal, and composite assemblies. Combined at a 10:1 (V:V) ratio, it has a working time of 18 to 22 minutes. The 1670 is mainly used as an universal grade for industrial applications where composites are involved. Normally it does not require any surface preparation. The black appearance makes overpainting unnecessary even for aesthetically demanding applications (e.g. CFRP). The 1670 fulfills the requirements according to DIN EN 45545-2 chart 5, R1, R7 and R17 with HL1-3.
